Exploring Parts of Speech

Piko Pika Kidz Language Adventures – Section 1

Exploring Parts of Speech is a fun and gentle introduction to English grammar for early learners and beginner English students. Guided by the friendly Piko Pika Kidz characters, children discover that words have different jobs and work together to create meaning.

In this course, learners explore the core building blocks of language, including naming words (nouns)—both common and proper nouns—action words (verbs), pronouns, describing words (adjectives), and prepositions. Through short lessons, clear explanations, playful examples, and simple check-for-understanding activities, children build a strong foundation in how sentences work.

All concepts are explained in easy-to-follow English, making this course ideal for native English speakers as well as young ESL/EFL learners. Lessons are designed to be brief, engaging, and confidence-building, allowing children to learn at their own pace while developing essential skills for reading, writing, and speaking.

By the end of the course, learners review and celebrate their progress, feeling proud and confident as growing grammar explorers.
